Christ with His Pain

Meditations on myth, science and the noumenal

I used to be a Christian. Then I took apart my worldview. Then I didn't know what I was. Here's what I know now.

I'm soft-agnostic: comfortable not knowing. I'm ecumenical: I'm after a truth big enough to contain all sides, the paradox behind the contradiction. I'm ex-pat Christian: but most Christians I know (as well as the Christian I used to be) would have SERIOUS PROBLEMS with my theology. And I love the Tao.

I engage in study as invocation, a form of prayer. And I consider my life's work to be in the study and telling of myths. Not mythology, though: mythognosis.
